Vietnam Bachelor Party 2014

My friend John is getting married and what a better way to celebrate than to have the boys go to Vietnam together. The country runs on coffee and some of the freshest and tastiest food in Asia. The people are warm and always eager to make friends. Regardless of the United States atrocities here during the Vietnam war people very warm towards Americans; the Chinese being the most hated beings on planet earth. Ancient temples, delicious food and beverages, decent surf and wonderful beaches awaited us. This was one of the highlight trips of my Asian adventure.

First night out for the bachelor. We wore these garments to one of Saigon's finest clubs.

Danang

ダナン市

We flew to Da nang to enjoy the beach and surf. We found that it was much more than just a simple surfing destination. Danang is full of beautiful temples and UNESCO preserved villages. The people were some of the friendliest people we have met in Asia. Every night we went out, even for a glass of sugar cane juice by the road side, people would come and talk to us. Their natural hospitality and good humor won us over. Kris, who was born in Vietnam, is already looking at buying property here.

Marble Mountains

"We had our whole medical facility here and the Americans had no idea. We could see their every move," said the custodian of the temple. The marble mountains are lush, cavernous and very close to the former American airbase. She was still very proud of the fact that the Viet Cong were able to operate a medical base right under the American's noses. Besides belittling the US air force she was really sweet to us.
