Valentines Day 2014

For Valentines day we explored "Bangkok's Lung" aka Bang Krachao on bikes. The man made island is only 15 minutes from my apartment. It was once an orchard but was turned into a massive park.
For dinner we enjoyed a beautiful nighttime dinner cruise on the Chao Phraya river.

今年のバレンタインデーはバンコックの「Bang Krachao』という緑いっぱいあるひっそり島で自転車を乗り回した。Bang Krachaoは僕のアパートから３キロの短い距離です。この人工島では奇麗な公園や浮かんでいる市場もある。

そして夜にチャオプラヤー川で夕食クルーズをした。今年のバレンタインデーはとても楽しかった！

Roselle tea and protest

Polly and I went to pick up our India VISA's and just so happened a large troupe of protesters came marching on by. It was an energetic display of one-sided patriotism; flags galore. We also made homemade Roselle tea!
